VULCANO - PANAREA & STROMBOLI BY NIGHT-VULCANO

DEPARTURE FROM THE ISLAND
02:15pm departure from Vulcano.


At first, we will sail along Lipari, the Castle, Monterosa, Capo Bianco ( Pumice quarries) and then move to Panarea to see the beauty of its islets of Dattilo and Lisca Bianca. Stopover to visit the town center.
We will see beyond Basiluzzo the majestic Stromboli. The height of this legendary volcano in constant activity, is about 920 m above sea level and that is why it is called the Lighthouse of the Mediterranean. The color cobalt of the waters, the almost perfect cone, the slope of blackish lava which slide down to the sea, and the smoke that offer a unique spectacle especially at sunset. Overstop at the Island. Among the places to visit in STROMBOLI, the CHURCH OF SAINT VINCENT, located in the main square where you can admire the beautiful panorama of the island. You can also visit the FAMOUS HOUSE that was the love nest for ROBERTO ROSSELLINI and INGRID BERGMAN. Another curiosity set in Stromboli is the conclusion of The novel “Journey to the center of the earth ”byJulesVerne in1864. It is also possible to climb the crater until a height of 400 meters without a guide for another panoramic view of the island. In the evening, we will sail along the northen part of the Island. We will also see from the boat, the sunset between Strombolicchio and the villages of Ficogrande and Piscità. When we arrive under the Sciara del Fuoco, we could see the
Natural phenomenon of pyroclatic explosions and the village of Ginostra.

At 10:00pm return to Vulcano.
